From tape measure to truck order

  1. 1

    Measure the job

Length, width, depth, in the units you already work in. Pick a shape if it isn't a rectangle.

  2. 2

    Read the breakdown

The tool converts to yards, tons, bags, or sheets as you type, and adds the waste you set.

  3. 3

    Order the right amount

Set your price for a running cost, copy or print the result, and buy the whole job in one trip.

Price the whole job, not one pile at a time.

Every result has an "add to project" button. Run the gravel, the concrete, and the sod, save each ticket, and the list totals the job across calculators. It stays on your device, so the plan is still here next visit.

  • Save any result to the list with one tap
  • Totals follow you across every calculator

Why these beat a plain calculator

01

Waste is built in

Order the exact calculated amount and you'll come up short the first time the ground isn't level. Every tool adds a waste factor you control, so the number you see is the number to order.

02

Cost, not just quantity

Type in your price per ton, bag, or sheet and get a running total. Change suppliers, change the number, see the new cost.

03

Made for the truck, not the desk

Big inputs, a numeric keypad on your phone, and the answer right where you need it. No scrolling past three ads to find the result.

Every number is one you can check

We don't hide the constants the math runs on. Each one matches a published industry reference, so a pro can sanity-check the result before ordering.

How far each material actually goes

Rough coverage for the units suppliers sell in, so you can sanity-check a number before running a full calculation. Confirm against your own supplier and local code before you order.

Material Sold by One unit covers Worth knowing
Crushed gravel & stone the ton ~100 sq ft at 2" deep Sold by weight, so denser stone covers a little less. Halve it for a 4" base.
Ready-mix concrete the cubic yard 81 sq ft at 4" thick Drops to 54 sq ft at 6" thick. One yard is 27 cubic feet.
Bagged concrete the 80 lb bag 0.6 cu ft per bag 45 bags make a cubic yard, or 60 bags if you buy the 60 lb size.
Drywall the 4×8 sheet 32 sq ft per sheet A 4×12 sheet covers 48 sq ft and leaves fewer seams to tape.
Asphalt shingles the square 100 sq ft per square That's 3 bundles. Add about 10% waste, more on a cut-up roof with lots of valleys.
Topsoil & mulch the cubic yard ~100 sq ft at 3" deep Bagged mulch runs about 2 cu ft, so roughly 14 bags equal a yard.

These are planning estimates, rounded for quick math. For your exact job, with waste and cost built in, run the matching calculator.
